EX1806 – Dive 04, Blake Escarpment South

Small rocky outcrops provide opportunities for invertebrate community growth amongst the long stretches of sandy bottom observed in this area. This rock hosts several different coral species that are able to take advantage of the food-rich bottom current that passes through the area. [Laser beams are 10 cm apart.]
